Peerobyte Enhances Security Rolling Out 2FA

To provide you with the highest level of security, we injected two-factor authentication (2FA) supported by Google Authenticator across our platform. This feature protects against unauthorized access and ensures the security of your data and accounts.

Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your login process:

  • Firstly, you need to input a password and a username,
  • Secondly, you are required to have what only the user has access to. It is a code generated by the Google Authenticator app. This means that even if someone were to discover your password, they would still need access to your mobile device to log in to your account.

2FA with Google Authenticator is a simple yet effective way to enhance your account's security. It's a method trusted by millions of users worldwide for its reliability and ease of use. We strongly encourage both our new and existing users to activate this feature. Setting up 2FA takes just a few minutes, but it goes a long way in safeguarding your account against potential threats.

To enable two-factor authentication, simply go to the security settings in our control panel, click "Click here to Enable" and follow the instructions below—more details in our documentation.

If you have any questions or need help with the setup process, our support team is here to help.
