How do I configure reverse DNS?
I set up a PTR record on our DNS server, and it works within our network. However, it doesn’t work outside of our network.
Do I need to involve the internet registrar, or is it enough to correctly configure the PTR records?

For reverse DNS to work globally, you will need to contact your internet service provider (ISP). Only your ISP can configure PTR records for the IP addresses assigned to you since they control those addresses. Your local PTR configuration will only work within your internal network.
