Each time I build Docker images, I aim to reduce their size. I want to find a way to create the most compact images possible.. I try to reduce the image size with commands like: Adding cleanup commands to the Dockerfile reduces the image size only slightly. For example, after removing wget and some temporary files, the image only shrank from 1.9 GB to 1.85 GB. Are there any ready-made scripts for removing unnecessary packages?.
