What is a Dedicated Server?

A Dedicated server is a hardware server whose resources are used only by you, without sharing them with anyone else. It is quite a flexible option for companies who need maximum control over the server, from the choice of operating system to the specific hardware.

Do you test dedicated servers before renting them out?

Absolutely. To meet the stated SLA of 99.98%, we stress test all servers before putting them into service. So Peerobyte customers can be confident in the reliability of our infrastructure.

What operating system can I install on my dedicated server?

You can install any Linux distributions, Windows Server and all popular low-level hypervisors. The question of OS installation, initial configuration and license payment is up to the user. But we advise and help to solve any problems and difficulties.

How are ready-made configurations different from custom ones?

We select in advance popular configurations with a good price-to-performance ratio for your business tasks. We provide a large selection of servers, which are ready to work in a few minutes after the payment.

When you choose your own CPU model, drives, memory capacity and other options, you get custom servers. Then you send that configuration, and we do everything exactly as specified and run tests. To give a custom server to a client we need a little more time: from 1 to 5 days. The configuration can always be changed without creating a new order.

We appreciate the individual approach and make unique configurations according to your requirements.

What do I get by renting a dedicated server?

By renting a dedicated server, you get the server resources in their entirety. Other clients won't be able to host your hardware. Suitable for storing sensitive data and hosting applications that require server processing power. You will be able to create private clouds on a dedicated infrastructure or work in hybrid mode.

How do I pay and for how long can I rent?

We have monthly billing with the ability to pay in advance for a month, three months, six months, a year or more. We provide discounts for single payments (3 months - 6%, 6 months - 13%, 12 months - 16%, 24 months - 20%, 36 months - 22%). We work with individuals and legal entities on prepayment.
