Financial Accounting
PostgreSQL provides a reliable and secure platform for managing and processing financial information, keeping your organization’s financial data safe and confidential.
A fully managed enterprise service for PostgreSQL. Taking over the deployment and maintenance of PostgreSQL clusters so you can focus on innovative applications, not data infrastructure.
PostgreSQL provides a reliable and secure platform for managing and processing financial information, keeping your organization’s financial data safe and confidential.
PostgreSQL is feature-rich, supporting complex queries, aggregations, data groupings, as well as providing the ability to create custom functions and procedures. This enables businesses to perform deep data analysis, identify trends, predict results, and make informed decisions.
Managed Service for PostgreSQL allows you to easily integrate your database with geoinformation services and efficiently manage geodata in your application.Support for various data types and indexing mechanisms, as well as the availability of the PostGIS extension, make PostgreSQL an ideal choice for working with geodata.
PostgreSQL supports a wide range of extensions that allow you to store and index data with different types and structures, such as JSON, XML, arrays, and others. This provides flexibility and convenience when working with a variety of data, and allows you to easily adapt to changing business needs.
With Managed Service for PostgreSQL, you can focus on developing the functionality of your web project without wasting time and effort on database infrastructure management. Thanks to its broad compatibility with web frameworks, PostgreSQL can be easily integrated into your project, ensuring reliable data storage and efficient operation.
In a few simple steps, you can launch a ready-to-use PostgreSQL database and easily connect to it. Database instances are specially customized for the selected server type, and database parameter groups allow you to fine-tune and manage your PostgreSQL database.
Managed Service for PostgreSQL allows you to scale your database to meet the growing needs of your business. You can easily change compute power and storage capacity, or add new servers to the cluster to adapt to increased traffic and expand the database as needed.
The service provides high availability of the database. It is equipped with fault tolerance mechanisms, automatic recovery and ensures continuous operation of your database.
You get access to information about database health, performance, load, and other important metrics. Such monitoring allows you to promptly detect problems, take measures to eliminate them and optimize database performance.
The DBaaS concept involves storing and managing data in a cloud environment, where the user does not need to install and maintain a database - he gets a ready-made and optimized solution in the cloud.

What tasks can PostgreSQL be used for?
PostgreSQL is a universal, open source, enterprise-level object-relational database that supports relational SQL queries and non-relational JSON. It is a very stable open source multi-platform database management system.
PostgreSQL is used in many industries, wherever large and complex databases need to be managed. It is used by such giants as Sony, Huawei, Alibaba, Instagram, Tripadvisor, Hitachi, Yandex, Skype, Reddit, Amazon Redshift, FlightAware and many others, including governmental ones.
CRM and ERP-systems, automated banking systems, statistics tracking systems with a large flow of small operations are organized on PostgreSQL: document management automation, warehousing, accounting. PostgreSQL is used for data extraction from various sources, its transformation and loading into the target system or data warehouse, data sampling and analysis, Business intelligence solutions and financial planning products.
What tasks does a PostgreSQL database management service provider undertake?
Managed Service for PostgreSQL - provides a ready-to-use PostgreSQL database management system, whose cluster uses cloud architecture for hosting.
You can focus on working with the database, enjoy all its benefits, and technical issues on the organization of the database cluster and its operation we will take care of.
Our area of responsibility includes:
How is the backup of database clusters organized?
Full backup of the database cluster by default is performed automatically once a day between 1:00 AM and 5:00 AM GMT+4. Every 30 seconds are saved to the database cluster transaction logs, which allows you to restore the cluster state at any point in time within the backup storage period, except for the transactions of the last 30 seconds that have not yet been saved to the logs.
What restrictions does PostgreSQL place on the size of the database and its elements?
At the moment PostgreSQL has the following limitations:
Can a customer change the PostgreSQL DBMS configuration without creating a new cluster, for example, change the number of vCPUs or the amount of RAM?
Yes, you can increase the vCPU, RAM and disk size parameters in the control panel in a few clicks. Decreasing the above parameters is available by contacting your manager or through the ticket system.
What happens if the DBMS version is no longer supported by the developer?
If the DBMS version you are using is no longer supported by the developer, you will still have access to your data. However, in this case, the creation of new cluster nodes will not be available and other features may be restricted. The client is notified by e-mail and in his personal cabinet about automatic upgrade to the nearest supported version, about the timing of the work and availability of databases. Such upgrade will be performed even if the client has disabled automatic upgrade.
The client is notified about minor version update at least 7 days in advance, about major version update at least 1 month in advance. After receiving such notification, the customer should check the software interacting with PostgreSQL for compatibility with the new version. If necessary, the customer should take steps to ensure compatibility with the new version.
I need superuser privileges for PostgreSQL hosts, is this possible?
No, we do not provide superuser rights for cluster hosts to Managed Service for PostgreSQL customers, only PostgreSQL database administrator privileges.
TCP/IP is the backbone of everything. This protocol stack is like the circulatory system of the Internet and cloud computing.
MongoDB is a widely used NoSQL database designed for fast and efficient data management. Unlike traditional relational databases, it follows a document-oriented model.
PostgreSQL is more than just an object-relational DBMS — it’s the Swiss Army knife of databases: reliable, versatile, and always within reach.
