30-Day Freetest IaaS No-Card - Special Trial Policy
1. Purpose of the Document and Applicable Terms
1.1. This document, the "30-Day Freetest IaaS No-Card - Special Trial Policy" (the "Special Trial Policy"), establishes the parameters and unique terms of the "30-Day Freetest IaaS No-Card" trial programme (the "Programme").
1.2. This Programme is a Trial Programme within the meaning of the "Peerobyte Trial Policy" (the "Trial Policy"). This Special Trial Policy specifies the Trial Policy in relation to this Programme.
1.3. This Special Trial Policy applies subject to the order of contractual priority established by the Trial Policy. In the event of inconsistencies between this Special Trial Policy and the Trial Policy with respect to the parameters and procedure for providing this Programme, this Special Trial Policy applies, unless the Individual Trial Programme Agreement, the applicable Contract, or mandatory requirements of applicable law provide otherwise. To the extent not regulated by this Special Trial Policy, the Trial Policy, the Agreement, and other applicable Peerobyte documents apply.
1.4. Descriptions of this Programme in instructions, on the Site, in the interface, in tooltips, banners, the "Questions and Answers" section, and advertising and other informational materials do not change this Special Trial Policy, the Trial Policy, or the Agreement and do not constitute an Individual Trial Programme Agreement, unless they expressly show an intention agreed by the Parties to change the terms of this Programme. In the event of inconsistency, the applicable contractual documents prevail in the order established by the Trial Policy.
1.5. The requirements of the Acceptable Use Policy, No Spam Policy, Intellectual Property Policy, and other applicable Peerobyte documents must be complied with in all cases. If this Special Trial Policy contains requirements that are less strict than those documents, the stricter requirements apply, unless mandatory requirements of applicable law provide otherwise.
2. Main Parameters of this Programme
2.1. This Programme is provided at the discretion of Peerobyte and is intended for evaluating the "Cloud Infrastructure" Service.
2.2. Under this Programme, Peerobyte provides the User with Test Access to the "Cloud Infrastructure" Service.
2.3. Test Access is provided for 30 calendar days. The period is calculated from the date and time of actual deployment of the test project recorded in the Peerobyte accounting system, and ends after 30 calendar days on the corresponding date and at the corresponding time according to Peerobyte billing time. If another time is displayed to the User in the Peerobyte interface, the data in the Peerobyte accounting system prevail, unless mandatory requirements of applicable law provide otherwise.
2.4. Within Test Access, the User is provided with:
- an individual project in the Peerobyte cloud infrastructure with the configuration and limits of Test Resources established by this Special Trial Policy;
- a project control panel in the Peerobyte cloud infrastructure (GUI);
- a command-line interface for managing the Peerobyte cloud infrastructure (CLI);
- access to the control panel for the Peerobyte "Cloud Infrastructure" Service.
2.5. For the purposes of implementing this Programme, Peerobyte reflects in the Peerobyte accounting system (billing) in relation to the User Account a promo credit with a nominal value determined by Peerobyte as the estimated cost of 30 calendar days of using the configuration and limits of Test Resources specified in clause 2.7 of this Special Trial Policy (the "Bonus"). The Bonus is a conditional accounting value and is used exclusively for accounting coverage of the fixed configuration and limits of Test Resources within this Programme. The reflection or debit of the Bonus does not constitute the making of a Payment by the User, the top-up of the Account Balance with monetary funds, payment for a Paid Subscription, or a basis for a refund, payout, withdrawal, or compensation. The Bonus cannot be used for other Services, changing the configuration, increasing limits, paying for a Paid Subscription after Test Access ends, or withdrawing funds.
2.6. Withdrawal of the Bonus and any other use of the Bonus not provided by this Special Trial Policy are prohibited.
2.7. Configuration and limits of Test Resources for Test Access:
- 1 virtual processor;
- 2 GB RAM;
- 10 GB All-Flash Storage (SSD);
- hybrid SSD+HDD storage - not provided;
- backup volume - not provided;
- external IP addresses, including floating IP addresses and public IP addresses - not provided.
2.8. The configuration of Test Resources, limits, and the number of included capabilities are not changed or increased at the initiative of the User within Test Access. Automatic or early transition of Test Resources, the project, configurations, data, account-related and authentication access credentials created within this Programme to paid service is not provided. Use of paid Peerobyte Services is possible only under a separate order or separate Paid Subscription outside this Programme, if such order or subscription is accepted by Peerobyte.
2.9. Linking and Verification of a Payment Method are not mandatory conditions for providing Test Access within this Programme.
3. Special IaaS Use Scenarios
3.1. In addition to the general permitted purposes established by the Trial Policy, within this Programme the User may use Test Resources for the following IaaS scenarios within the configuration and limits of Test Resources:
- familiarisation with the Peerobyte cloud infrastructure management interfaces and typical project management operations;
- deployment and study of operating system images, typical software stacks, and templates available in the Peerobyte cloud infrastructure;
- training in operating system administration and configuration in a test environment;
- configuring test network parameters, filtering rules, security groups, access policies, logging, and monitoring, if the relevant mechanisms are available in the project;
- deployment of test, demonstration, and pilot web interfaces and APIs without an external IP address being provided, with access only through the available internal network mechanisms of the project, the project console, or other access tools, if such tools are technically available in the Peerobyte cloud infrastructure;
- basic performance measurements of test and pilot environments owned by the User within the configuration, limits, and restrictions established by the Trial Policy.
3.2. Under this Programme, it is prohibited to use Test Resources for resale, sublicensing, transfer to third parties as an independent paid infrastructure service, managed service, outsourcing, or other independent commercial provision of Test Resources, as well as for processing sensitive or regulated data and other purposes prohibited by the Trial Policy, the Agreement, and applicable Peerobyte documents.
3.3. Production operation of Test Resources within this Programme is not permitted. This Programme is intended for familiarisation, training, testing, demonstration, and pilot scenarios within the configuration and limits of Test Resources, the Test Period, and other restrictions established by this Special Trial Policy, the Trial Policy, the Agreement, and other applicable Peerobyte documents.
3.4. Load testing, stress tests, mass generation of network traffic, long tests of maximum resource utilisation, and public benchmark testing are permitted only with prior written approval from Peerobyte and within the approved parameters.
4. Participant Requirements and Activation Procedure
4.1. The User may participate in this Programme if the User meets the requirements of the Trial Policy and has not previously received Test Access under this or any other Peerobyte Trial Programme, and has not previously used Peerobyte Services through the same Account, the same organisation, or other attributes that Peerobyte may take into account in accordance with the Trial Policy, unless otherwise agreed by Peerobyte.
4.2. To activate this Programme, the User must complete the general requirements of the Trial Policy, the actions provided by the instruction "How to Activate the 30-Day Freetest IaaS No-Card Program", and the actions in the Peerobyte interface, including acceptance of the Agreement, the Trial Policy, and this Special Trial Policy. Linking and Verification of a Payment Method, as well as consent to the automatic transition of Test Resources to paid use and the charging of the Payment, are not required.
4.3. After the activation conditions have been met and the Account and User have been approved by Peerobyte, the following consequences occur:
- the Peerobyte accounting system reflects a targeted Bonus for use within this Programme in relation to the User Account;
- the Peerobyte accounting system debits the Bonus for accounting coverage of the fixed configuration and limits of Test Resources within this Programme; such reflection and debit do not constitute the making of a Payment by the User, the top-up of the Account Balance with monetary funds, or payment for a Paid Subscription;
- an individual project is deployed for the User in the Peerobyte cloud infrastructure with the configuration and limits of Test Resources established by this Special Trial Policy;
- in the "Products & Services" section of the Peerobyte services control panel, the User is given access to manage the "Cloud Infrastructure" product;
- the User receives the status of a participant in the "30-Day Freetest IaaS No-Card" programme.
4.4. When activating this Programme, the User confirms that after the end of the Test Period the project, Test Resources, configurations, and data will be automatically deleted in the manner established by this Special Trial Policy.
5. Completion of this Programme and Automatic Project Deletion
5.1. This Programme does not provide for automatic transition of Test Resources, the project, configurations, data, account-related and authentication access credentials to paid use after the end of the Test Period, or their early transition to paid use before the end of the Test Period. Upon expiry of the Test Period, Test Access ends, and the project and related resources are subject to automatic deletion in the manner established by this Special Trial Policy.
5.2. The resources to be deleted (the "Deletable Resources") are all resources created for the project or in the project of this Programme, including virtual machines, volumes, images, snapshots, internal network settings, filtering rules, security groups, account-related and authentication access credentials, configurations, logs, data, and the project itself.
5.3. Upon expiry of the Test Period, Peerobyte terminates Test Access and automatically deletes the Deletable Resources without additional confirmation from the User and without the need for the User to submit an Opt-out. The User must independently export, copy, or delete the required data before the end of the Test Period. After the project is deleted, recovery of resources, configurations, and data is not guaranteed.
5.4. A Paid Subscription is not arranged as a result of this Programme. Peerobyte does not accrue any Payment for continued use of Test Resources after the end of the Test Period, does not debit any Payment for such resources from the Account Balance, and does not use the Payment Method of the User to pay for continuation of this Programme. Arrangement of paid Peerobyte Services is possible only under a separate order or separate Paid Subscription outside this Programme, if such order or subscription is accepted by Peerobyte.
5.5. No later than 2 calendar days before the end of the Test Period, Peerobyte sends the User a notice of the upcoming end of the Test Period, termination of Test Access, and upcoming automatic deletion of the project, Test Resources, configurations, and data. Such notice is sent with the content, through the channels, and with the consequences provided by the Trial Policy, unless mandatory requirements of applicable law provide otherwise.
5.6. Early transition of Test Resources, the project, configurations, and data created within this Programme to paid service is not permitted. The User may terminate participation in this Programme early by deleting resources or sending a request to Peerobyte support, if such procedure is available in the Peerobyte services control panel. Arrangement of a Paid Subscription to the "Cloud Infrastructure" Service is possible only separately from this Programme and does not create an obligation for Peerobyte to preserve, transfer, or restore resources created within this Programme, unless Peerobyte expressly agreed otherwise.
5.7. The consequences of early termination of participation, suspension of Test Access, breach by the User of this Special Trial Policy, the Trial Policy, the Agreement, or other applicable Peerobyte documents, as well as the consequences of deletion of the project and Test Resources, are determined by the Trial Policy, this Special Trial Policy, and applicable Peerobyte documents.
